"LeCouple" is possibly the most beautiful lithograph of the artist's last major work, 27 illustrations for René Char's "Lettera Amorosa". A nine-color lithograph was created here in the typical strong blue tones, which is extremely popular on the market (and therefore rare to find). In 2021, one of the 75 prints was auctioned at Bonham's in New York, the one offered here comes from Tokyo.
